Plot: Lawrence returns home to attend the funeral of his brother killed so atrocious. Lawrence after seeing the body decides to seek the truth about his death. In town, some say it was a beast, who was said to be a psychopath and who blames the gypsies, who arrived in town just before the murder. The citizens decided to organize patrols to catch the animal, which attacks only on full moon nights. And during one of these nights, Lawrence was attacked and wounded by the beast. Comment: I saw this movie the day before yesterday evening. It 's been quite disappointing. The decision to refer, for the creatures, the style of the old horror movie was not very apt. They were very very scary and almost ridiculous, acted so horrible at times and, let us say, had a very unseemly howl that made me almost come to tears ...
The character of the inspector was extremely unnecessary, as if it had been put there just to keep out of the possibiliotà a second film, in fact the only useful thing he does is bite and not to kill himself at the end of the film (which I rather think he would do XD). ... dead brother's wife is also there with him is the most trivial thing in the world, really obvious and, personally, really useless. A simple aid and comfort would have been better.
But I liked Hopkins, who discovered the feelings of being what it is, you repented of years of imprisonment imposed on the creature inside him after his wife's death. Yeah yeah I loved him very much. The only scene worth mentioning is the beautiful scene in the asylum ... When the doctor supergenius that a full moon night in front of the door to all the nice Lawrence, after almost tortured to make them understand that the werewolves do not exist and that he will not turn into a monster with the rise of the full moon. But all the 'spectators' are starting to worry seeing the transformation while dottorone not notice anything until you notice the terrified faces of the gentlemen (and there also puts a lot of time XD) ... beautiful scene ... so beautiful doors that opened inward, and toward which all were thrown into the room remained imprisoned hihihihi. Schena really interesting. For the rest ... film wasted. A cast was good, the atmosphere were all ... and then it falls right on my way to make the wolves and not content, even on their line that should be at least as good inquitante original howl of a wolf ... bah ...
Then I have explained well why the father turns quickly and painlessly, and to him that it takes more time and all the physical pain just to be nice bun from his father ... ok he is a werewolf by twenty years, however in theory this should not give him the instant transformation ... should not be such a thing? Besides, it turns ... without the slightest wrinkle ... when the transformations made to see the child first, you could see things that indeed seemed to be very painful XD (well you were beautiful scenes of the changes but after a second version wer were ridiculous) ...
And then ... fight scene that parent / child ... was a little like this ... As one friend of mine was very Buffy XD.
is well ... In my opinion, could be an interesting movie that is wasted ... saw what came out motevano leave aside the legend of werewolves for a while ...
and then ... Hugo my ... do not let yourself get caught in parts so useless ... true that with that beard you were a nice Tocchetto But my darling ... was an interesting part of the Cabinet as the tablet ....

- Del Toro takes 3 hours to get dressed as a wolf-werewolf and an hour to remove everything.
- Rick Baker, who decided to work as a make-up artist after seeing the Wolfman (1941), when he knew they were doing a remake and introduced himself by saying that one of the producers had to be him to deal with the make-up . the producer told him that he was their first and only choice, but they could not contact him because he has an agent.
- This is the second time Del Toro stars as a werewolf. In his first film in fact covered the role of the 'boy with a face like a dog' in Big Top Pee-wee
